Beer inventory module:
As a complete inventory software package, Scannabar allows you to monitor your canned and bottled beers and it’s so simple. Before you begin, you create your products in an open data base by setting up the product name, package size and cost. To this, you add the UPC code on the case or on the unit. When an order is delivered to your place of business, you then go into receiving mode, scan the UPC of the case and enter the number of cases that are being delivered that day. The Scannabar software will do all the computing and your beer inventory will be immediately updated.
To manage beer transfers, you simply select where you would like to transfer your beer to, scan the UPC of the bottle or can and enter how many units are being moved out of your inventory.
When it's time to count what is left at the bars, simply choose the location your are taking inventory at, scan the UPC of one unit and enter the amount that is left in inventory. The Scannabar software does the rest telling you how many beers you started with, how many were added to the inventory of the location and how many were used of each brand. With this information in hand, you can compare how many beers were rung up versus how many were taken from inventory and at the same time, you are updating your whole inventory of beer to be always in control of what is left in your business.
